Privacy Policy

Account details you give us: name, email address, password (stored only as a hash, never in readable form), and optionally a phone number, location, bio, avatar and banner.

Content you create: posts, replies, reactions, listings, messages, community memberships, follows and friendships.

Location: if you enter one, we convert the text into approximate coordinates so we can show you businesses nearby. We store the town, not a street address.

Usage: page views and clicks, recorded with a random identifier stored in your browser. We do not store your IP address alongside them and we do not fingerprint your device. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we do not record this at all.

Technical: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and an approximate city derived from your connection by our hosting provider.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

We do not read your private messages except where required to investigate a report or comply with the law.

Hosting and delivery: Vercel. Database: Neon. File and video storage: Vercel Blob or Cloudflare. Email delivery: Resend. Payments: Stripe. Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

We share information with law enforcement only where legally required, or where we believe there is a risk to someone's safety.

Account data is kept while your account exists. Usage events are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Deleting a post removes it from the site; residual copies may persist briefly in backups.

You can edit or delete your content, change your details, and close your account at any time.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the address on the Copyright page.

Cookies: we use one cookie to keep you signed in. Blocking it will sign you out.
